[The Revelator]

13 September '10:

• In character month and year has been added to the welcome board, it will change every few months or so.
  
• We now have an Archive. If you want your finished posts kept somewhere safe from deletion, submit them now.
  
• I have added to the MC Affiliation section of the Bio Template that you need to put what charter of any MC your character is a part of. For example, if you're in the Sons, you'd need to add that you're part of the Charming charter, or Las Vegas, Tacoma etc.
  
• All approved bios with MC affiliation have had their bios mended to reflect their charter. It's also been added to their custom titles in their profile.
  
• Character of the month will begin in the next week or so. Winners will be sent a short questionaire to fill out which will be posted in a special CotM thread for people to read. They will also have a special CotM button made for the welcome board that links to this interview. Winners may add the month they won in their signature if they wish.

14 September '10:

• We now have boards for character one-shots and communications between characters. If you're unsure what exactly one-shots are, PM me.

16 September '10:

• Character of the Month has officially launched, read the interview about the winning character.

18 September '10:

• A list has been created detailing each of our members and what characters they play, linking to each bio. Once characters are approved, they will be added to the list. Dropped characters will be removed. This makes it easy to keep track of who plays who when seeking posts, and for new members to learn who is who. You can get there quick using the welcome board quick link.

22 September '10:

• First board wide event has occured. Read it here. It is set three days after this post. Please RP accordingly.

24 September '10:

• I've added code to show the 'Welcome X' text under the header graphic. It will show if you have any PM's, making it easier to see if you need to check your inbox.
  
• Minor tweaking done with codes to reduce board section size etc, looks neater now.
  
• Chibs is open for audition once again.

27 September '10:

• Some revision of the Board and Character rules has been done. Recent issues that have come up have had rules related to them added in. Established members should take a minute to read through them, all new arrivals should definately read them.

13 October '10:

• Added graphics to the category headers.
  
• Fixed the width of the forums to 1000px so header graphics fit no matter member screen resolution.
  
• Changed sub-board drop down list to links under board description.
  
• Working on theme skins for each of the main characters.
  
• Clay skin complete. To change theme, edit your profile and choose "Clay" in the "Select Skin" drop down menu in Account Preferences.
  
• New Character of the Month coming out on the 16th.

14 October '10:

• Jax & Gemma skin complete.
  
• Finished final touches on main skin.

16 October '10:

• This month's CotM has been released. Read the interview about the winning character.
  
• Tara skin is now available to members.

18 October '10:

• Bobby & Tig skins are now available to members.
  
• Clay has taken the Sons into the Hills to hold church regarding the Tribe's Mayan problem. All Full-Patch Charming and Hills Tribe members are expected to attend. See the post here.

20 October '10:

• The Advertising boards have been revamped and are now easier for guests and members to use.

22 October '10:

• The Board Rules have had some revision. Rules regarding advertising in your member profile have been added.
  
• The Character Rules have had some revision. Rules regarding applying for taken cannons that are inactive have been added. Rules regarding advertising in your bio submissions have been added.

01 November '10:

• I am currently working on a new default skin! You will still be able to use the old default skin as an option if you prefer it. Old category headers and side bar graphics will no longer be available however as I can't change these per skin.
  
• New skin will premiere with matching CBox colours and a new story synopsis on the sidebar which will include our OOC plots. The old story entry will be archived for reference to new members.
  
• Chibs and Opie skin now available to members.
  
• Juice, Piney, Sack and more character skins still to come and will be in tune with the new default theme.
  
• IC month of July is just around the corner.
  
• November will be the last CotM for 2010. I will not have one in December, so that on January 1st, I can reveal a new CotM for 2011, and have them fall in the first week of the month instead of the second/third.
  
• There is a poll regarding me making a skin for 2011 CotM winners. Please read it, vote on it and add any comments.

02 November '10:

• New default skin is up. The old skin is now renamed "Red, White n Blue" (at the top of the drop list in 'Select Skin'). Please be aware that the sidebar, welcome board and category header graphics have all been changed to match the new skin, therefore the old skin will look odd. I may very well remove it if I'm aware no one is using it.
  
• The old entry in the Story section of our side bar has been archived. As our plot moves along and a new entries are made, the old ones will be archived so new and old members alike can learn/remember the general jist of things that happened.

08 November '10:

• IC Month has now been changed to July. This is used as a guide to your posts, not a hard 'this is the date'. The Board Wide Plot has shifted along and it's now early July.
  
• Last CotM for 2010 will be announced on the 16th.
  
• Don't forget to vote on the CotM skin poll.
  
• Don't forget to welcome new members or guests if they chat in our CBox. When I'm not online, Members should be answering any questions or directing people to the rules etc. I also have a Ask The Revelator thread which is guest friendly.

10 November '10:

• Original SoA Charming characters are now restricted, as we have so many already (See Restriction List here. Cannon characters are always allowed, feel free to audition for one if you want to be a Redwood Original. I encourage all members wanting a RO character to send their charries to the SoA Vegas charter. We already have Full-Patch and Prospect charries in Vegas, so we should be looking to increase our numbers there.

11 November '10:

• We now have a News section in the side bar. This will be updated whenever there is news, plot events, polls etc. I will no longer 'announce' these threads. Always check the sidebar for announcement of new news and events.

12 November '10:

• Female characters have been taking over Revelator as of late and I have placed several restrictions on various female characters to balance out male/female ratio, encourage members to apply for cannons and to encourage creative, new female characters. See this thread to read the full list of restrictions and the reasons for them being in place. These restrictions are straight forward, and will not be bent/broken.

13 November '10:

• Due to inactivity, Gemma and Opie have been removed from their players and placed back on the OPEN cannon list.

15 November '10:

• I have compiled a list of all our BWE (Board Wide Events) in the Archives. The posts integral to the main plot of Revelator will be archived here and listed for new and old members alike to keep track of. Also, member posts which are submitted for archiving that I think have an impact on the BWE may find their posts archived to BWE.
  
• I have added two new buttons on the Quick Links section of our Welcome Board linking to Face Claims and the new BWE List. This will make things easier for new members, and those of us who are lazy (myself included).

16 November '10:

• This month's CotM has been released. Read the interview about the winning character.
  
• This month's winner wraps up the 2010 CotM listings. I will not have a December winner, so that come Jan 1st, I can run things from the 1st instead of mid month.

21 November '10:

• I have added an MC Member List to the Members & Their Characters thread. It provides a list of what characters are involved in an MC, and includes their names, position, charter and a link to the character profile. This will make it easier for us to keep track of who is where, how many active charries we have in different charters and MC's.
  
• I would like to remind members to use the Inactivity Notice if they are aware that they will be inactive for a period of time more than 2/3 days. It will keep you safe from deletion should a census occur, and let other members know that you are intending to come back and have not just dropped off the face of the earth. This is considered mandatory, just like you need to drop a charrie if you no long wish to play them, or submitting to Face Claim. Please do not forget to do it before. If you don't have time, ask a friend, or myself to post on your behalf. I understand unexpected things do happen, and you may not get a chance to post notice, but it ensures your account and character safety should census occur.

10 December '10:

• Revelator's first Activity Check has begun. The thread will be locked on December 31st and all who had not replied will have their accounts deleted and their characters removed.

19 December '10:

• A subboard has opened in Charming for the Annual Charity Picnic as seen in season one. Each year Gemma and many in Charming get together and host this great weekend, with all proceeds going to help local causes. Many of SAMCRO find themselves drafted into parcitipation, and it is a great chance to catch up with friends, have some good clean fun and support Charming.

31 December '10:

• The Activity Check thread has closed. If you missed it, you still have 24 hours until I clean up, so PM me immediately.
  
• The Jan 1st clean will clear out quite a bit of dead charries/accounts, I'm relying on my members to keep this board going, make a new charrie, involve yourself in a plot and pick up a cannon. Everyone should have one I think!
  
• Big thanks to all members for making this little dream of mine a success. I hope after everyone has recovered from the holidays, that Revelator will get back into full swing, with more BWE coming very soon.
